Leonard Werner joined Optimar International Realty in March 2015 as a Commercial Real Estate Consultant , Subsequently , he has been engaged as Director of Commercial Real Estate and responsible for identifying and executing new investment opportunities for the company, and is tasked with overseeing its commercial Real Estate department Optimar Commercial Advisors. Leonard works closely with senior management in developing the company’s commercial real estate strategies for growth. Leonard brings years of experience in management, finance, construction, and organizing joint venture opportunities in the commercial real estate market and can assist in all areas of real estate development including equiyt and debt funding.

Leonard is a seasoned professional with over 23+ years of experience in Real Estate Brokerage & Finance. Leonard has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ball State University in 1978. Leonard is a licensed Florida Commercial Real Estate Agent.
With over $200MM in Real Estate transactions credited to his name, Leonard is a successful negotiator who’s skills include Commercial Real Estate Valuation, Financial Analysis, Leasing, Sales & Marketing including Equity/Debt funding.
Leonard Werner is a graduate of Ball State University has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Psychology as well as 4 additional semesters in the (MBA) Masters in Business Administration School. While attending Ball State, Leonard was the starting Fullback on the Football Team which won the (“MAC”) Mid- American Conference Football Championship in 1978, and was invited to tryout with the Dallas Cowboys.
Leonard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the Real Estate Industry and has performed in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate, Leonard also organized and participated as a general partner in a real estate development of student housing project at the University of Florida in Gainesville.. Leonard is a licensed Florida Real Estate Commercial Agent and is currently pursuing a CCIM designation for Commercial Real Estate investment to better serve his clients. Specializing in the sales of Commercial Real Estate, Leonard has a vast network of owners, investors, developers, in the Commercial related businesses with whom he consults with on a regular basis. With the support of Optimar International network, Leonard has the ability to market and maximize the owner’s return. Having an entrepreneurial spirit from the outset, upon graduation; Leonard started a Solar Power Manufacturing Company in South Bend Indiana which he ran successfully for 6 years. This effort yielded a profitable business until the changing political government administration brought an end to sustainable energy subsidies under the Reagan Administration where upon Leonard moved from Indiana to Naples, FL.
Beginning with his move to Naples, Florida, Leonard began his real estate career at Westinghouse Land Development selling residential development properties owned by Westinghouse in Pelican Bay, Naples, FL. Several years later Leonard was engaged to oversee and direct a Sales and Marketing team for the luxury home builder Coastland Properties, owned by Mr. Roger Fine in Naples, FL, Coastland built high end custom luxury homes in the most elite Naples subdivisions for affluent clients.
Shifting his efforts to Southeast Florida, Leonard moved to Miami and was engaged by (ISG) International Sales Group, Inc. located in Aventura, Florida, Positioned as the Director of Sales & Marketing to manage a sales force and advise on improving sales production for developers that had engaged the ISG’s services. After a number of successful marketing efforts for Miami real estate developers for (ISG), Leonard shifted to Investment banking. Leonard became a partner in at the Investment Banking & Real Estate Company; Platinum Advisory Services. The Principal of Platinum Advisory Services Steven Posner, a well-known Real Estate Tycoon and Investment Banker, which Leonard assited with JV Real Estate Development properties including PIPE Funding for clients This relationship lasted 7 years until Mr. Posner’s untimely death; whereby Leonard re-established himself full time in the commercial real estate market and also has services for clients to provide equity and debt funding under Werner Capital Advisors Services.
